engagement (54%), followed by child pester power (39%), the media and social
media marketing campaign (30%) and the hospice involvement (30%).

90% of trail visitors agreed the Big Hoot encouraged them to get out and enjoy the
trail areas, 78% agreed the trail increased their sense of personal health & wellbeing,
73% agreed that trail involvement made them feel closer to the charitable work
undertaken by St. Elizabeth Hospice and 70% agreed the trail had encouraged them
to engage with independent shops they hadn't previously shopped in.
