Hannah's Art Trail Story
Our previous art trails have brought plenty of
colour and creativity to the local area, while
helping to raise awareness, funds and support
for our vital services.
Our 2022 trail, the Big Hoot Ipswich, raised
over £270,300 for our services, which
every year care for over 4,000 patients and
their families.
One person who has enjoyed the previous
trails, and also has her own personal
experience of our care, is Hannah Jackson.
"I was involved with the Big Hoot, through
my work at Homestyle UK Windows, who
have supported St Elizabeth Hospice since
the first art trail in 2016," said Hannah, whose
Dad, Paul Dodwell, received support from
our hospice team before his death in 2023.
"The art trails get families and friends
exploring areas they may not have been to
before. It also raises awareness of St Elizabeth
Hospice and the work they do.
"I certainly didn't think our family would ever
need to use the hospice's services, but you
never know what the future will bring.
"The support we received was absolutely
amazing and fundraising events, like the art trails,
are a great way of supporting the hospice."
