Take My Lead Brings
Wagging Tails for Hospice
Thank you and congratulations to
everyone who took part in Take My Lead
in March, raising £2,750 for the hospice.
Over 60 dogs and their owners
completed 5 and 10-mile walks along the
coast, starting and finishing at Thorpeness
Country Club as part of our fundraising
dog walk.
Canine friends were also able to get tasty
treats and a refreshing 'puppuccino' from
event sponsor Nightingale Vets on the day. Royal Recognition
for June & Muriel
Huge congratulations to hospice volunteers
June Winter and Muriel Bridges, who were
recognised by the King in his New Year
Honours list!
Both have dedicated over 35 years to
fundraising and volunteering for the
hospice and were proud recipients of
British Empire Medal (BEM) awards for
their incredible service.
Thank You Julie!
In March, we said goodbye to
Julie, Inpatient Unit Team Leader
in Ipswich, after over 10 years of
dedicated service.
Julie is a much-loved member of the
team who has made a real difference
to so many patients and families over
the years.
The whole hospice team wishes to
thank Julie and wish her the best for
the future.
