Established in 2013, St Elizabeth
Care Agency supports anyone over
the age of 18, including people with
learning disabilities or mental health
needs, living in the communities
of Ipswich, Woodbridge and their
surrounding areas.

Commission, the team provide a wide range
of services, such as personal care, support
visits and practical domestic assistance, to
promote independence and help people live
comfortably in their home.
The organisation is a wholly owned subsidiary
of the hospice, meaning all profits made by the
agency are donated to St Elizabeth Hospice to
further the development of our free services.
Becky's Care Agency Story
Becky, who lives with cerebral palsy and is
a wheelchair user, began receiving support
from St Elizabeth Care Agency when she
returned from university.
"My St Elizabeth Care Agency support
workers help me take part in my hobbies
and also provide companionship too, which
are both so important for my physical and
mental health," explains Becky.
"On Mondays I visit an accessible gym
which I really enjoy. Here I can build my
strength and I'm able to use body parts
that often get tight and stiff, giving me
more flexibility.
"While on Tuesdays I go swimming with
the help of two support workers. I really
look forward to these sessions as my
body feels free.
"Thursdays sees us attend a local library
for their sports morning. Here I play
boccia and socialise with other people of
my age group and on Fridays I go horse
riding.
"The St Elizabeth Care Agency make a
massive difference to me. They allow me
to have the freedom and independence
that any 33-year-old lady would want. I
love the relationship I have with my carers,
as a good match is paramount to receiving
a person centred care plan, which is
exactly what the Care Agency deliver."
