St Elizabeth East Coast Hospice
8
In our summer newsletter, we
announced Norwich-based LSI
Architects had been appointed to
lead the development of our new
hospice facilities on the Gorleston
land, previously acquired by East
Coast Hospice, with whom we
merged in 2023 to form St Elizabeth
East Coast Hospice.
We are pleased to update these plans
are progressing well, and we are grateful
for the valuable feedback received from
stakeholders, especially our hospice staff.
This input is crucial in shaping our plans
which will help us achieve our ambition
of providing a long-term hospice care
base for the community.
As mentioned before, we are adopting a
phased approach to this project, as funds
allow, so we can ensure the services are
viable and sustainable for the local area.
This work will build upon and align with
our existing services in the area, delivered
in partnership with East Coast Community
Healthcare (ECCH), which have supported
more than 5,000 patients and their families
since launching in April 2019.
